About Us

New owner Joe Restivo has always enjoyed the views of Southern Illinois. As a Chicago Native, Joe would visit Southern Illinois every year during his summer vacations. Riding horses and hiking the hills kept bringing him back for more. After falling in love with the area, he decided to move down to start his family in the early 1970's. After years as a contractor, restaurant owner, and entrepreneur, he has decided to bring back the Broken Wheel Ranch for his family and yours. We look forward to sharing this new chapter in life with all who visit the ranch. This family environment is sure to keep bringing you back to the grounds of Broken Wheel Ranch.
